”We are drawing up the development concept of the Baku State University until 2030. In this regard, the consultations are also held with specialists from Israel”, said rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev in his interview with APA.
“We show great interest in new approaches in the area of education. The innovative approaches should be applied in the education sector so that the education process wouldn’t bore the students. The teachers’ efforts are stimulated. We have put forward the goal of bringing up a highly qualified young generation who would meet the requirements of contemporary times. All processes at university are serving and should serve for this purpose.
There is a unity of science and education. And this unity should be cultivated beginning from studentship years. We have already started to choose such hopeful youths. Another goal is to establish two strong centers. One of these centers will function in the area of natural sciences, another center will be engaged in human and social sciences”, - he emphasized.
