A meeting of the Human Rights Committee of National Parliament of Azerbaijan will be held tomorrow, APA reports.
The issue of candidates to the position of the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan will be discussed at the meeting.
President Ilham Aliyev has put forward the candidacy of 3 persons to the position of Ombudsman.
The candidates are Kamala Abiyeva, a judge of Baku Court of Appeal, Kamala Aliyeva, Head of Human Rights and Public Relations Division of the Supreme Court and Sabina Aliyeva, Deputy Head of Administrative Office of the Constitution Court.
Currently, Elmira Suleymanova acts as the Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan.
