President Ilham Aliyev receives Ramil Usubov on the occasion of  his appointment as Secretary of Security Council - UPDATED

On June 25, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Ramil Usubov on the occasion of his appointment as Secretary of Security Council, APA reports citing the press service of President.

The head of the state said that Ramil Usubov has successfully fulfilled his duties as Interior Minister for many years.

Noting the socio-political stability in Azerbaijan is ensured today, President Aliyev underlined the importance of continuing security measures for the proper implementation of the tasks facing the country.

Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that Ramil Usubov would adequately cope with his position as secretary of the Security Council and wished him success in his work.

Ramil Usubov expressed his gratitude to the head of state for his confidence and appointment to the responsible position as the Secretary of the Security Council.

He said that during his tenure for the long years as Minister of Internal Affairs, the ministry always felt the great attention and care of national leader Heydar Aliyev and then President Ilham Aliyev in its work.

Ramil Usubov underlined the importance of the measures taken to ensure stability and peace in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He said he would spare no effort to justify his high credibility as Secretary of the Security Council.
