Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The presidential election in the US has given rise to racial, religious and national crises in the society, said Azerbaijani MP Zahid Oruj.

He made the remarks during a discussion of the US election results at the parliament’s plenary session on Nov. 11.

The US held presidential election on November 8. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump won the election.

“The election has also resulted in the defeat of those who had been spending the money of US citizens for revolutions in Afghanistan, the Middle East and elsewhere,” said the MP. “In addition, the lobbying groups, financial centers and trade networks backing Hilary Clinton faced fiasco, and their corrupt system has been destroyed.”

According to him, the funds received from Arab sheiks and numerous trade networks in order to conduct pre-election campaigns once again proved that the election system in the US is fully corrupt.

“This is not our opinion, in this regard, there is enough evidence. The American people expressed their reaction to ‘the policy under the guise of democracy’, which caused the decline of various countries,” Oruj said, adding. “Those who have turned a blind eye to the problem of US citizens and built a police in different countries to dictate them how to live faced severe electoral consequences.”

This [election result], according to the MP, was the defeat of those trying to cover up the Nagorno-Karabakh problem of the Azerbaijani people under the guise of opening the Turkish-Armenian border.
