Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s national currency should bear an image of the country’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, MP Siyavush Novruzov said at the parliament’s meeting on Oct.14.
Novruzov bases his idea on the fact that Turkey’s national currency bears an image of Ataturk.
“US dollar has also borne images of US presidents. Russia has issued money showing images of various tsars. I’m not suggesting that people should inscribe his signature on their cars. But it should be inscribed on our national currency,” the MP added.
