Azerbaijani parliament ratifies numerous documents

Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament) ratified a number of documents on Wednesday.

The documents are the Council of Europe Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and on the Financing of Terrorism, the Convention between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Denmark for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, the Additional Protocol to the Agreement on Air Transport between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar”, the Protocol on “Implementation of agreement dated November 28, 2006 on defense of criminal proceedings participants on payment of costs related realization of defense measures” and the Regulations on service in law-enforcement bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic" approved by the law of the Azerbaijan Republic of June 29, 2001 No. 168-IIG, APA reported.

The documents were approved following the vote.
