Armenian vandals, including the Armenian leadership have committed genocide against Azerbaijan’s history, destroying mosques in the occupied Azerbaijani territories, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his inauguration ceremony on April 18, APA reports.
"But they fail to realize that the destroyed mosques will live in our hearts,” said the president.
The head of state said that the destroyed mosques are exalted in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people.
"After liberating our lands, we have built a mosque in Jojug Marjanli similar to Shusha Mosque, which was destroyed by Armenian vandals. Now our people can worship in those lands. This once again shows that we will accept the occupation,” he added.
