Christian missionaries engage dangerous activity in Azerbaijan, said Azay Guliyev, MP and chairman of the Council on State Support to NGOs under the auspices of the Azerbaijani President.
“They conduct dangerous propaganda especially among youth and draftees”, the MP said addressing a conference named “NGOs and Religious Communities: From Cooperation to Joint Activity”, which was held in Baku on Sept. 28, APA reported.
He noted that Christian missionaries became very active in Azerbaijan.
“We have already determined this precisely. They conduct propaganda among draftees and try to evade them from army telling them the use of weapons is a sin. So, they affect the Azerbaijani army, weaken the fighting spirit. Their activities are prohibited in many countries. We should also make a decision in this regard,” Guliyev added.
