Azerbaijan’s export potential will continue to grow and the need of the country will be largely provided with local products, said President Ilham Aliyev.
“I’m positive that we will end 2017 with higher figures,” said the president addressing a republican conference of non-oil exporters in the country’s Yevlakh district on Monday, APA reported.
The head of state noted that Azerbaijan should pay more attention to the creation of export companies.
"The investment climate in Azerbaijan is positive. There are good conditions for attracting local and foreign investors. For international recognition of certificates for local products, laboratories operating in Azerbaijan need to be internationally accredited,” he added.
President Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan will open “Trading Houses” in many countries. “The first ‘Trade House’ will be opened in the near future in Belarus,” he said.
“Foreign countries are interested in Azerbaijani products. In the export market, it is necessary to establish business relations with large trade networks, invite them to Azerbaijan, familiarize them with our capabilities, and see advanced companies," the president added.
