Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev introduced the newly appointed chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev to the committee’s staff and wished him success.
Mehdiyev gave detailed information on Rzayev's life and work experience, the State Committee told APA.
The Presidential Administration head hailed the great work done by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to improve the living conditions of refugees and IDPs. He added that work in this direction will continue in the future.
Mehdiyev gave appropriate recommendations to the committee’s staff to address the tasks set forth by the country’s president.
Rzayev, in turn, expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for confidence in him, pledging that he will do its best to fulfill his duties.
The Azerbaijani president earlier signed an order on appointing Rzayev as chairman of the country’s State Committee for Refugees and IDPs.
