Azerbaijan’s Interior Minister has developed an appropriate plan to prevent calls for social, religious, national and racial discrimination, said the country’s deputy interior minister, Oruj Zalov.

He made the remarks addressing a seminar organized for chairpersons of district election commissions by the Central Election Commission, APA reports.

Zalov noted that the process of specifying voter lists has started in district election commissions.

According to the order signed by the Interior Minister, consultations will be held in police departments in Baku, Ganja, Shirvan and other large cities, the deputy minister added.

“No one can prevent the conduct of a transparent and democratic election campaigning in the country. Such attempts will be decisively prevented,” Zalov warned.
