Population's income in Azerbaijan increases by 7.3%

Incomes of the population in Azerbaijan in January-June of 2018 increased by 7.3% over the corresponding period of last year and amounted to 23526.7 million manats.

The per capita income amounted to AZN 2,422.9, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that

In the reporting period, 86.3% of the population's income was directed to consumer needs, 8.5% - to pay taxes and social insurance contributions, 1.9% - to repay interest on loans, 3.3% - to replenish deposits and capital.

After paying taxes and contributions to social and other types of insurance, AZN 21526.8 million remained at the disposal of the population.
