President Ilham Aliyev arrives in Tartar district

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the country’s Tartar district on Nov. 28.
The head of state first laid flowers at a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Tartar district.
Head of Tartar District Executive Power Mustagim Mammadov briefed President Ilham Aliyev on the carried out activities and implemented projects in the district.
It was noted that the social and economic indicators of the district have improved, many social infrastructure facilities have been built and production facilities have been established in the district.
Later, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new building of Tartar Museum of History and Local Lore.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the museum.
The president was informed that construction of the new building of the museum started last year. The two-storey museum houses two exhibition halls. The museum features a total of 2,000 exhibits highlighting Azerbaijan’s rich history, traditions and culture. There is also a photo section here depicting national leader Heydar Aliyev’s visits to Tartar district. The museum also has a 40-seat conference hall.
