Ergun Nifteliyev: Eric Feigl will be buried in his motherland

Delegation of State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad (SCWALA) has been sent to Austria to solve technical problems of the funeral of Eric Feigl and to participate in the ceremony, SCWALA told the APA. The representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas, the leadership of Congress of European Azerbaijanis are also expected to take part in the ceremony. Besides, some art and science workers of Austria, officials representing state structures, intelligentsias and representatives of mass media will partake in interment.
Touching an issue about Feigl’s interment in Azerbaijan, Feigl’s heir Azerbaijani student Ergun Nifteliyev told the APA that they have decided to bury Feigl in his motherland.
“It could cause some legal problems. Azerbaijani side will do its best to organize ceremony well,� he said.
It should be noted that the professor of Vienna University, one of the famous explorer of Turkish history, honoured member of Congress of European Azerbaijanis administrative staff Eric Feigl died of long lasting illness. He was awarded “Tereggi� (Progress) medal. /APA/
