Azerbaijan-Romania Friendship Society representative Euken Urikaru: Europe wants to build its future on Azerbaijani oil resources
09 March 2007 10:27 (UTC +04:00)
“Monuments were set up only to three big statesmen in the capital of Romania after the antisocialist revolution took place in Romania in 1989. They are the monuments to Heydar Aliyev, Mustafa Kamal Ataturk and Charles de Gaulle. All of them changed the life of their people and Romanians appreciate their contribution, the member of Board of Directors for Azerbaijani-Romania Friendship Society, the former member of Romania Writers Union Euken Urikaru told APA’s Eastern European bureau.
He also said that he intended to visit Baku years before and most of all he wanted to see the Nobel’s house in Baku.
The capital of this family played and is playing an important role in the world’s economy, culture and science. I wonder to see the source of that capital. The most interesting thing is that the time has not changed the situation. Nobel’s descendants and modern Europe again intends to build their future on Azerbaijani energy resources. /APA/
