"By such provocations, the Armenian side purposedly aims to aggravate the situation in the region, disrupt the negotiations on the peace agreement, not comply with the obligations of the trilateral statement dated November 10, 2020, delay the construction projects of Azerbaijan in Karabakh and East Zangezur, and confuse the Armenian population and the international community," former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Tofig Zulfugarov told APA while answering the question on "What is the political-military leadership of Armenia trying to achieve with such military adventures?".

"Armenia refuses its obligations. In response to military provocations, Azerbaijan must force Armenia to peace. From this standpoint, this operation can be considered not as a war but as an operation to force Armenia to peace. Armenia appeals to various international organizations not to leave us alone, they are attacking us, they are occupying us. It is surprising that even after the war, they keep the military in our territory and still accuse us of something, which is an example of the cunning policy that Armenians have always pursued," said T. Zulfugarov.
