Reported that as a next step, the city of Khankendi was separated from the energy system of Armenia and connected to the energy system of Azerbaijan.
Noted that back in 2021, reserve slots for Khankendi were installed in the "Shusha" substation, built by "Azerenergy" and commissioned with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. From September 19, 2023, "Azerenerji" started the installation of additional 110 kV high-voltage poles near the "Shusha" substation and connecting them with the Khankendi line. As a result of the works, the process has already been completed. At the same time, "Azerenerji" and "Azerishiq" employees inspected the transmission and distribution network and protection systems, and then voltage was applied to the line. The light of Azerbaijan is already burning in Khankendi.
