Ombudsman held monitoring in destroyed cemeteries in Zangilan

The next fact-finding mission has been held by Azerbaijan’s Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva in the Zangilan region, Ombudsman Office told APA.

The main purpose of the fact finding mission is to research facts of the destruction of graves in the cemeteries by Armenian armed forces, located in the Zangilan region liberated from the occupation, and collect facts.

Within the framework of the fact-finding mission, Ombudsman has carried out monitoring in destroyed Mammadali and Agali cemeteries in Zangilan region.

A report has been developed based on the collected materials and will be presented to the leading international organizations in the field of human rights.
