"The work we are doing is a project based on the principles of humanism. These principles are behind every political decision," chairman of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), deputy Novruz Aslan said, APA's Karabakh correspondent reports.
He said that the tools of humanitarian diplomacy have always been used in human history, civil diplomacy is also applied, intercommunal meetings take place and political decisions are made after all this.
"I think there will be some impetus. misunderstanding should be eliminated. We are taking these steps now, which is a difficult and sensitive process. tension has continued in this region for nearly 30 years, our lands were under occupation, and we had about a million refugees and internally displaced persons. we do not hold grudges, but our memory is good, we will never forget anything.
the deputy said that representatives of the diplomatic corps will come to Aghdam-Khankendi road on August 31: "They will observe here. I know that foreign representatives were here today. They see the difference. We live among the blind and the deaf in this world, but we must open the eyes of those who do not see all this, institutions and associations. Unfortunately, this is difficult for us to do. We need to listen to the institutions that do not hear us, they should hear us. This whole process is difficult, we are aware of it, but we are also determined to work in this direction. I believe that eventually we will open their eyes and ears. They will finally appreciate the realities. I believe that initially these steps are important and then it will continue as a chain process. We strongly believe that positive decisions can be made."
