300 mln. barrels of oil to be produced from Caspian Sea with ACE project - BP

"There will be created a condition for the production of 300 million barrels of oil until 2050 with the Azeri Central East (ACE) project," said Head of BP on foreign communications, Director Manager of the ACE Project Neal Phillips at the presentation ceremony of the support blocks for the project, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, a new production, drilling, and residential platform will be installed among current Central Azeri and Eastern Azeri platforms in the 140 m depth of the sea within the framework of the ACE Project. There will be 48 well shafts on the platform.

"Technical experience of Shah Deniz-2 project will also be used in the ACE. Management will be carried out from Sangachal terminal," added head of the Project.
