"3.8 bln barrels of oil were exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline so far, " Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, BP's vice-president of communications and advocacy for the Middle East and Caspian countries told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, currently, currently, an average of 660,000 barrels of oil is transported through BTC per day, of which 440,000 barrels fall to the share of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, 100,000 barrels to the condensate produced in the Shah Deniz field, and 120,000 barrels to the share of oil of other countries.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli also added that there are requests for increasing the volume of transit oil and the technical aspects of this are being considered.
