During the first quarter, ACG delivered an average of around 12 million cubic meters per day of ACG associated gas to the state of Azerbaijan (1 billion cubic meters in total), primarily at the Sangachal Terminal but also to SOCAR’s Oil Rocks facility. which is almost equal to the same period last year, APA-Economics reports citing the report published by BP (project operator) regarding the operations conducted in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2022.
During the reporting period, ACG transferred an average of $ 12 million cubic meters of gas to SOCAR per day.
"The remainder of the associated gas produced was re-injected for reservoir pressure maintenance."
Notably, a part of the oil produced at ACG is provided to SOCAR free of charge.
