A meeting was held between the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov, and the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Acting Minister Azim Akhmedkhadzhaev in the framework of the event of Organization of Turkish States (OTS) energy ministers in Almaty, Kazakhstan, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Energy.
During the meeting, the issues arose from the fulfillment of the Roadmap, which was signed in August between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for expansion of cooperation in the area of energy was mulled. At the same time, there was an exchange of views about the transportation of oil and petrochemical products from Azerbaijan, projects on electric and gas-turbine stations, as well as issues regarding energy regulation.
Note that the political will of leaders of states and the duties set ahead make up the basis of our activity regarding the development of comprehensive relations between the countries. Thanks to strengthening mutual efforts and coordinated activity, diversified cooperation directions in the energy field will contribute to deepening the strategic partnership between our countries.
