Azerbaijan’s total export made up USD 34,7 bln in January-October 2022 and the export of the non-oil sector made up USD 2,4 bln which is more than 16,2% compared to the 10 months of 2021, APA-Economics reports citing the November export review of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication of Azerbaijan.
According to the review, the export of products of the chemical industry increased twofold, aluminum and aluminum products by 25,7%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 24,5%, and tea export by 48,9%.
The statistical value of the export of agricultural and agro-industrial products is USD 672,1 mln. Fruit and vegetable products exported in January-October 2022 form 92,5% of the agricultural products group. The added value created by agro-industrial products, which holds a significant place in the composition of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 29% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
