Agriculture Minister of Israel Oded Forer will visit Azerbaijan in two weeks with a group of specialists, APA reports citing Al-Monitor.
According to the publication, one of the main topics of talks in Baku will be the export of wheat to Israel.
Analysts of the publication note that currently, Azerbaijan does not plant enough wheat for export. However, the republic intends to implement a major project to expand grain production.
Israel, in turn, is ready to provide Azerbaijan with the latest agricultural technologies, which will soon increase production. It is expected that the wheat purchase from Azerbaijan will be possible from 2025.
Israel is generally ready to assist in the development and promotion of agriculture in Azerbaijan.
