"Increasing the assets of the State Oil Fund is a positive factor," said Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising and the Labour and Social Policy Committee, APA reports.
The minister said that more funds are being collected for the Oil Fund: "On the other hand, it is not correct to allocate all the revenues to expenses. Decisions are made depending on the specific macroeconomic situation. In 5 months, 1.3 billion manats of additional income was generated from oil."
