Azerbaijani Minister: "Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Romania increased by 2,77 times"

"Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Romania increased by 31,3% last year, and by 2,77 times in January-April of this year," said Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev at the 6 the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Romania Intergovernmental Joint Commission for trade and economic relations and scientific and technical cooperation held in Baku, APA reports.

Sahil Babayev noting the social-economic achievements reached in our country spoke about the successful activities of Romanian companies in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani companies in Romania. He noted the existence of friendship groups for inter-parliamentary relations, the Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society in Bucharest, business forums and business meetings in Bucharest and Baku, and the important role of these and other events in the development of relations.
