Azerbaijani Speaker: Transition to green economy to be realized gradually and steadily

"Azerbaijan's vast energy sources will increase its role in ensuring Europe's energy security," said chair of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova during the conference on “The role of national parliaments in promoting security and stability through green economy, transport coordination, and sustainable development”, APA-Economics reports.

According to her, relevant work is being carried out in Azerbaijan in the direction of developing alternative energy sources and green energy.

Sahiba Gafarova also added that the transition to the green economy will be realized gradually and steadily.
