Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on July 6, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
It was reported that successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran has been implemented in various directions, especially in trade-economic, transport, energy, and cultural fields.
Views were exchanged on the development of the Khudafarin and Giz Galasi hydropower plants and Hydroelectric Power Station on the Araz river, as well as several new projects to be implemented by taking into account the new realities in the region.
