"This year, Azerbaijan is expected to export more than 24 billion cubic meters of gas that about half of which will be supplied to Europe," said Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov during the 28th Baku Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, currently, Azerbaijani gas is transported to 6 countries.
The Minister noted that with the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor and the launch of the "Ring of Solidarity" project, the number of countries supplied with Azerbaijani gas may exceed 10.
