Baku to host 19th session of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission

Nur-Sultan hosted the 18th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, APA-Economics reports.

Delegations led by the co-chairs of the Commission, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov, and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov attended the meeting.

A bilateral meeting of the co-chairs took place first. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of cooperation between the two countries and the agenda of the Commission meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Parviz Shahbazov noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the initiators and active participants of important international projects, are united by strong brotherly relations with deep historical roots and sealed by successful cooperation experience for many years. It was noted that today, relations between our countries are successfully developing, and the two countries are successfully implementing joint projects owing to the political will of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev.

At the end of the meeting, the sides signed the protocol on the results of the 18th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and agreed to hold the 19th meeting of the commission in Baku next year.
