"We are planning to start drilling a data well to obtain additional information about the gas located in the deep layers of the "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" oil and gas field block (ACG) in the fourth quarter of this year," Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, BP's vice-president of communications and advocacy for the Middle East and Caspian countries told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the drilling of the well will provide an opportunity to obtain additional information about the gas located in deep layers and to make a decision on the direction of work in this area.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli also added that currently, there is a decrease in production in ACG, which is due to the aging of the field.
