Brent oil surpasses $88 per barrel on ICE for first time since 2014-UPDATED

Oil price continues to increase on world markets. Thus, price for the March of 2022 agreement on the exportation of Brent crude oil has surpassed $88 for a barrel during trade operations held in ICE London Intercontinental Exchange for the first time since October, 2014, APA-Economics reports.

Price of Brent oil has increased by 1.79% and amounted to USD 88,03 at 11:50 a.m Baku time.

The price of the WTI brand has increased by 2.17% to stand at $ 85,11 by exporting in February of 2022 in the NYMEX exchange of New York.

The price of Brent crude oil futures contracts with March delivery rose by 0.54% on London’s ICE on Tuesday, reaching $87 per barrel as of 05:22 Moscow time, APA reports.

The price of $87 per barrel was last registered in October 2014.

Brent oil traded at $86.87 per barrel (+0.45%).

WTI futures gained 0.97%, reaching $84.11 per barrel.
