The price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe settled above $410 at the auctions held today, APA-Economics reports.
On September 4, the October futures price on the TTF index (the Netherlands' "Title Transfer Facility" - which is considered the most liquid virtual sales center in Europe) was $412,7, which is 3,3% more than the previous calculation price ($399,6).
It must be noted that Europe’s gas prices have increased to the maximum record price of 3900 dollars a couple of times during the day on March 7 last year.
Note that from December 31, 2021, Azerbaijan's gas transport to Europe through Trans-Adriatic pipeline (TAP) started.
