Gas prices on European spot exchanges broke through the mark of $2,500 per 1,000 cubic meters, APA-Economics reports citing Gazprom.
According to conservative estimates, if this trend continues, prices will exceed $4,000 per 1,000 cubic meters this winter.
Notably, on March 7 of this year, the gas price in Europe reached a maximum of 3,900 dollars, setting a record several times during the day.
