Improvement of routes of Solidarity Ring and South Gas Corridor is important

Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov met with his Belgian counterpart Tinne Van der Straeten on the sideline of his visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Ministry of Energy told APA.

At the meeting, information was given on the projects implemented in the supply of natural gas and renewable energy from Azerbaijan in accordance with the strategic energy partnership with the European Union.

It was stressed that improving the Southern Gas Corridor and Solidarity Ring routes for additional gas supply is important. Views on the green energy link connecting Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary, in which Bulgaria is also interested, as well as Belgium's wind energy projects in the North Sea, were exchanged.
