Islamic Development Bank expresses interest in energy projects in Karabakh

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with the delegation led by the President of Islamic Development Bank group Muhammad Suleyman Al-Jasiri, who is on a visit to our country, the Ministry told APA-Economics.
The minister spoke about the efficient cooperation between the Islamic Development Bank and Azerbaijan, stressed the support of the Bank for energy projects.
The president of the Islamic Development Bank provided information about the activity of the bank in the fields of infrastructure projects, technical support, financial aids, the work done on the development of the private sector. Interest was expressed on the projects in the energy field to be implemented in Azerbaijan, especially in the liberated areas from the occupation, as well as the project of “green energy” corridor, which will connect Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary.
