London hosted 5th meeting of the Azerbaijani-British Intergovernmental Commission

London hosted the 5th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Energy.

Before the meeting, UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan Baroness Emma Nicholson received a delegation led by Parviz Shahbazov, Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission and Minister of Energy. The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov also held bilateral meetings with the Minister of State for Business, Energy, and Clean Growth, Greg Hands, and the Minister for Exports Mike Freer. The meeting focused on the current state of relations between the two countries and prospects for development.

Following the meetings, the co-chairs - the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and the Minister for Exports of the United Kingdom Mike Freer addressed the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission with the participation of delegations from both countries.
