"I assured my Azerbaijani counterpart that diversification of energy resources and supply sources is among the priorities of the Bulgarian government," said Bulgarian Foreign Minister Teodora Gencovska after the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
"I recalled that we expect the construction of a gas connection with Greece to be completed soon so that we can fully realize the volume of natural gas agreed with Azerbaijan for Bulgaria," added Gencovska.
The Minister noted that the Bulgarian side is ready to organize the visit of the business delegation from Azerbaijan to the country.
The Bulgarian minister noted the importance of the resumption of Sofia-Baku direct flights in order to increase the tourist flow between the two countries.
