Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov has participated in 3rd meeting of Energy Ministers of Organizations of Turkic States (OTS) held in Budapest, Energy Ministry told APA-Economics.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister stressed that Ankara hosting Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State of OTS with the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan is the evidence of high solidarity among Turkic states.
It was stressed that Azerbaijan's trade turnover with member and observer countries of OTS increased by 42.7% last year and exceeded 7.2 billion dollars, these countries invested 14.3 billion dollars in Azerbaijani economy, and Azerbaijan invested more than 21 bln. dollars in these countries. This year, Azerbaijan is expected to export 24.5 bcm of gas, it is planned to supply about 12 bcm of it to Europe while 10,2 bcm of gas to Türkiye.
