More than 12 billion cubic meters of gas were transported via Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) to Europe, said TAP Managing Director Luca Schieppati while delivering a speech at the Baku Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports citing TAP Consortium.
According to him, thanks to the transportation of Azerbaijani gas via TAP, 10 percent of Italy's gas needs and 17 percent of Greece's needs were met.
Luca Schieppati noted that currently, negotiations are conducted in the direction of increasing the transportation capacity of TAP: "I consider that these works must be continued in order to determine the terms and determine how to do this.
