The initiative of Western countries to impose price limits on Russian oil carries great risks, including the scarcity of energy resources," said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, recent restrictions and decisions on the adoption of price limits - all these steps create great risks for the activity of the industry and provoke a shortage of energy resources and investments in the industry.

Alexander Novak emphasized that Western sanctions against energy supply were ill-considered and noted that Russia would not supply oil to countries under the conditions of a price limit, even if it is more profitable.
