Hungary plans to sign an agreement with Bulgaria and Romania at the end of next month on the development of a pipeline system in Southeast Europe for the supply of natural gas from Azerbaijan, said Peter Sijarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary at the press conference held in Budapest after the meeting with the energy ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports.
He spoke about the diversification of gas delivery sources and routes to Europe.
The minister noted that Hungary expects to start importing Azerbaijani gas by the end of this year and will receive 1-2 billion cubic meters of gas per year in the future.
