In January-August of the current year, 27 109,8 mln. cubic meters of gas was transported via the main gas pipelines of Azerbaijan which is 6.2% more in annual comparison, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
53,8% of gas transportation was implemented via the Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum South Caucasus gas pipeline. Through this pipeline, the gas produced in the Shah Deniz gas condensate field is exported.
Thus, during the reporting period, 14 589,9 mln. cubic meters of gas was transported via this pipeline (an 8.4% increase in comparison to the corresponding period of 2022).
