Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of its namesake electric vehicle maker owned by Elon Musk, announced on Monday it has recalled 107,293 vehicles for repairs, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The carmaker has recalled Model 3 and Model Y units over a defect in the central processing unit's cooling system, Tesla's arm said in a filing to China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).
A report from early May claimed that Tesla plans to open a new assembly line at its Gigafactory 3 facility in Shanghai.
