In January-April of this year, 12 833,1 thousand barrels of oil was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 10,5% more in annual comparison, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.
76.4% of the transportation was carried out through the BTC oil export pipeline , and 9,802.4 thousand tons of oil were transferred through this pipeline during January-April of the current year, which is 6.86% more in annual comparison.
During the period, 84.8% or 8 315.8 thousand tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline was produced in Azerbaijan, and 15.2% or 1 486.6 thousand tons (5.62% decrease) was made up of oil imported from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
