During the last 27 years (1994-2022), volume of Azerbaijan's foreign investments in the oil sector amounted to 108 billion US dollars APA-Economics reports citing SOCAR.
According to calculations, if in 1994 the volume of foreign investments in the oil field was 0.09 billion dollars, in 2022 this indicator was at the level of 7.74 billion dollars, which means an 86-fold increase.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, the highest indicator of the volume of foreign investments in the oil field - 8.22 billion dollars - was recorded in 2014, and the lowest indicator occurred in 1994.
