In January-May this year, Azerbaijan's exports amounted to 15.4 billion USD, while the non-oil sector accounted for 1.2 bln. USD, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told APA-Economics.
The exports in the non-oil sector increased by 280.6 million USD or increased by 30.9% compared to 2021.
In January-May 2022, fruit and vegetable products increased by 6.4% and amounted to 219.2 million dollars compared to the same period last year. During the same period, exports of chemical products increased by 8 times, aluminum and aluminum products by 2 times, ferrous metals and their products by 49.8%, cotton yarn by 23.7%, and cotton fiber by 14.5%.
