Import from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 7%

The volume of foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey was amounted to $1549887,13 in January-May of this year, which is 32,5% more than the analogous period of the last year, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

The volume of export from Azerbaijan to Turkey was increased by 74,8% and amounted to $982 603,7 thousand, while import plummeted by 6,6% and amounted to $567 283,43 thousand.

Trade surplus is valued to $415 320,27 thousand in the current year. Nevertheless, negative balance in the amount of 45047,76 thousand was created in the analogous period of last year.
