"Tehran and Baku have reached an agreement on preferential trade," said Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry and Director General of the country's Trade Promotion Organization, Alireza Peyman-Pak in an exclusive interview with APA's Tehran correspondent.
He said that businessmen of the two countries have established contacts with each other in a wide format, and now the two countries are conducting joint projects in third countries.
"The most important issue for is to develop trade between Tehran and Baku. For this, Iran must use the transit potential of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan must use the trade potential of Iran."
Peymanpak said that technical and engineering projects are underway for cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan.
